Emancipation Day Hours

A neighborhood library will be open in each ward on Tuesday, Apr. 16 in observance of Emancipation Day. Neighborhood libraries will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library will be open from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Named after Civil Rights Pioneer, Dorothy I. Height, the Benning/Dorothy I. Height Library connects Ward 7 residents to study rooms, meeting rooms, computers, and an extensive collection of books.
