New Spaces at MLK
The newly revitalized space will include over 200 thousand new books, vast rows of public computers, D.C. history, power tools, music recording space, a rooftop garden and much more.
From the outside, it's the same iconic building that first opened in 1972. But take a closer look and you'll see that within the brick, steel and glass is a 20th Century Library with a well-deserved makeover.
While we countdown to opening day, please enjoy the Library at home by exploring virtual programs and digital selections.
